You’re getting Friday pints on a Saturday because yesterday I announced the launch of Humans At Work. And you’re only getting two pints because they are long. Ah, we live in a world where constant flexibility is required.

    In “acknowledgments” at the end of every book, both fiction and non-fiction, all writers thank their first reader, someone with whom they have a deep emotional connection as well as whose critical ability they respect. I think this is a neat custom, as well as a welcome admission that while we make our journies by ourselves, we never really accomplish much without the loving attention of(at least a few) special others. Otherwise, what’s writing for?
